ONTARIO, Ore. — Tacoma claimed a 3-1 victory over Everett on Saturday, winning sets with scores of 25-19, 14-25, 25-21, and 25-21. TCC's defense contributed with 81 digs and 10 total blocks to secure the win at the neutral site.
Kelli English recorded 17 digs, showcasing her defensive capabilities on the court. Kylee Harris contributed significantly with 37 assists and added 16 digs to her performance. Emilia Linden posted 10 kills and added strength at the net with two solo blocks. Leilah Lemalu led the team in scoring, finishing with 20 kills and contributing 23 total points.
Taylor Holland made a significant impact for Everett with 30 assists and 15 digs, showcasing her versatility on the court. Maya Gaudia led the team in points, contributing 24 on the strength of 22 kills and two solo blocks. Katie Burkholder was pivotal in defense, registering 16 digs. Meanwhile, Amara Williams added 19 digs, further bolstering Everett's defensive efforts.
