WENATCHEE, Wash. — Skagit Valley defeated Tacoma in four sets on Wednesday afternoon, securing the victory with scores of 25-20, 18-25, 25-12, and 25-14.
Mircea Campos anchored the defense with 22 digs, providing stability in the back row. Kylee Harris facilitated the offense, distributing 34 assists to set up scoring opportunities. Haylee Tavares-Gernler contributed both offensively and defensively, recording 12 kills and 15 digs. Mykah Curtis added to the attack with 12 kills and supported the defense with 14 digs, showcasing versatility on the court.
Lyla Stuurmans demonstrated a strong serving performance, recording four aces across four games. Adriana Rodriguez contributed significantly in the setting department with 38 assists and added four service aces of her own.
