MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Tacoma fell to Edmonds in straight sets at Big Bend Community College on Tuesday afternoon, with final scores of 19-25, 18-25, 22-25. Tacoma struggled offensively, hitting .073 in the first set and .026 in the third, while Edmonds capitalized with a .200 hitting percentage in the opening set.
The Tacoma volleyball team had no standout performances in terms of individual statistics, as all players recorded zero kills, assists, service aces, digs, and blocks. The entire roster, including Kelli English, Mircea Campos, and Irish Wilkison, did not contribute any points.
Haley Yost led the Edmonds volleyball team with 17.0 points, recording 15 kills on a .227 hitting percentage, two service aces, and seven digs. Jayda-Lee Kaeo was a defensive standout, contributing 18 digs to the team's efforts. Abby Barrow facilitated the offense with 27 assists while also adding four block assists and a service ace.
