Tacoma Volleyball Goes 2-2 In Opening Tournament

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Treasure Valley edged out Tacoma Community College in a five-set thriller at Bellevue College, winning the match 21-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-12, 15-11.

Kylee Harris led the Tacoma Titans with 44 assists and added 20 digs, contributing significantly to the team's defensive efforts. Leilah Lemalu was a defensive force, collecting 36 digs while adding 14 kills to her performance. Emilia Linden contributed offensively with 13 kills and defensively with two total blocks, accumulating 15.5 points overall. Haylee Tavares-Gernler recorded a team-high 28 digs, providing crucial support on the backline.

Kynnsington Bandley contributed significantly to Treasure Valley's performance with a team-leading four service aces and 17 points, demonstrating her pivotal role in their attacking plays. Katelyn Markley was another standout player, amassing 19 points and securing 18 digs, highlighting her dual threat in offense and defense. Naomi Shipley provided crucial support with 31 assists and 16 digs, displaying her versatility and playmaking ability.
