High School: Simona graduated with honors from Gov. John R Rogers Highs School. She was a three sport athlete competing for the Rams in cross country, basketball and track. She earned a Varsity Track Award in her junior year and took second place in Leagues for her track performance. Simona was a captain for the basketball team and was voted both Most Hustle & Grit and Most Valuable Player by her teammates and coaches. Simona was a member of the National Junior honor Society and earned multiple academic awards including the Elizabeth Wesley Youth Merit Incentive Award and a scholarship from The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
