Biography
High School: Mayra attended Orofino Junior Senior High School where she earned three varsity letters. She played soccer and softball in addition to basketball and served her teams as team captain for five seasons. In both her freshman and sophomore years Mayra earned honorable mention honors followed by 1st Team All-League honors and MVP honors both her junior and senior seasons with the Maniacs. In addition to multiple Athlete of the Week honors, Mayra received recognition for her efforts in soccer and softball as well. Mayra also made Orofino’s honor roll all four years.
Personal: Mayra is a native of Orofino, ID and the daughter of Manda Stamper. She is attending TCC in pursuit of a degree in Wildlife Biology with hopes of becoming a conservation officer in the future. Mayra has two sisters, Monique and Josie. Her favorite food is Pho, she enjoys Country music and her favorite movie is “Double Teamed.” Mayra also enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, kayaking and hammocking.
