Tacoma Community College Men's Soccer Announces 8 Newcomers for the 2018 Season

Evan Brewer from Federal Way WA is currently playing at Federal Way High School and just finished a successful season with the Washington Premier Football Club 99's. "Evan is a tremendous Athlete. He is a dominant keeper who is great with his feet. Evan has the ability and is currently playing center back for Federal Way High School. We are very excited to add Evan to our pool of incredible keepers and expect him to be another in the long line of great keepers to play at TCC." Coach Prenovost
Grant Cox from Fife, WA is currently playing at Fife High School and is another product of the Washington Premier Football Club. "Grant is a versatile player that can contribute in a number of positions on the field. He has pace, grit and whether on the attacking or defending side of the ball plays with discipline and intensity." Coach Gjertsen
Preston Green from Auburn WA is currently playing at Auburn Riverside High School and another product of the Washington Premier Football Club. "Preston is a gritty left footed outside back that helped to lead his club team to 4 State Titles, a National League Championship and an appearance in the National Championships. He is an outstanding young man and his experience winning with humility is what we are about at TCC." Coach Prenovost
Gezim Konjuhi from Anchorage AK is currently playing for West Anchorage HS. "Gezim is a forward with excellent 1v1 skill and pace. He is a great striker of the ball and has a nose for the goal. Gezim's coaches and teammates raved about him as a player and as teammate. We look for quality on the field and also in the person. He brings both to TCC" Coach Prenovost
Michael Poe from Sumner WA is currently playing at Sumner High School. "Michael is a speedy outside winger that makes intelligent runs and is dangerous in front of goal. We are excited about the addition of Michael, he adds to our attacking depth and will put a lot of stress on opposing teams while at TCC." Coach Gjertsen
Darrian Rivers from Spanaway WA is currently playing with Spanaway Lake High School and is another in the long line of quality players to come from Washington Premier Football Club. "Darrian is a strong, athletic center back that dominates balls in the air and will help to anchor our defense. His brother Kyle helped bring a Championship to TCC in 2016 and was the West Region MVP last season. Darrian looks to build upon the family tradition while competing at TCC." Coach Jason Gjertsen
Jake Sargent from Silverdale WA graduated from Klahowya Secondary School in 2017. Last year he played a gap year for the Washington Premier Football Club 99's. "Jake broke his leg his senior year of high school and spent last season playing club ball and regaining form. Jake is a hardnosed player that is strong, skilled and strikes a great ball. He has great field vision and has performed at a high level in top competitions." Coach Prenovost
Masahiro Fukushima will also be so Joining the team next season. Masahiro, an International Student from Saitama, Japan played at Tokiwa High School and had the opportunity to train in Brazil for the Sao-Caetano development program. "Masa came to Washington State to attend College. He currently is a student at TCC and we found him training with the Sounders U23's. Masa plays as a central midfielder and can control a game with his movement on and off the ball. We look forward to including Masa into the team and expect him to find great success while at TCC." Coach Prenovost
TCC continues to build upon their tradition of success. "Our players work hard, get better and move on. We expect nothing less from this group. Adding them to the mix with our returners is exciting. They are quality soccer players and quality young men. We are nearing completion of our roster for next season, however are still looking to add a few exceptional people to the mix. We are in conversation with a few and expect a few more to reach out and join the Titan Family before next season begins." Coach Prenovost goes on to add. "I'm a product of the South end and Tacoma is a great place to be. We take a lot of pride in our community and college and will continue to look for people that want to be a part of what we are building at TCC!" Coach Prenovost
