TCC Falls to North Idaho College
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Tacoma Community College fell to North Idaho College 94-62 on Sunday evening. TCC's shooting struggles were evident, with the team hitting only 29.9% from the field.
The game began with a free throw from Ajayi Simmons of NIC, setting the tone early. Donovan Gill then responded with a 3-pointer for TCC, tying the score at 3-3 at the 19:00 mark. NIC quickly took control, going on a scoring run that included a three-pointer by Austin Ouko. They extended their lead with effective shooting from Ne'Quan Brown, who made several key shots, including a three-pointer at 5:09. By the end of the half, NIC held a commanding 51-21 lead, highlighted by Nyale Robinson's three-pointer with 38 seconds left.
NIC maintained strong momentum in the second half, securing a decisive victory over TCC. Key plays included Austin Ouko's 3-pointer at the 17:18 mark, which contributed to NIC's substantial lead.
