EVERETT, Wash. — Tacoma fell to Everett 79-69 on Friday night, with Tacoma's record moving to 2-4. This game marked the first in the 3-game Crossover tournament, setting the stage for an exciting series of matchups. Tacoma's efforts included 10 steals, although they were unable to overcome Everett's 21-point lead established during the second half.
The game commenced with Bubba Palacol of Everett scoring the first points on a layup and free throw, establishing an early 3-0 advantage. Tacoma's Jakoi Lide responded with a steal and layup to narrow the gap to 3-2. As the half progressed, Everett extended its lead significantly, reaching a 15-point margin at the 5:07 mark, highlighted by Ro'Darius Bryant's layup.
