Ty Iddon Hits RBI Single in Extra Innings to Win

TACOMA, Wash. — In Game 2, Tacoma edged Pierce in a thrilling 8–7 victory on Thursday, with the home team sealing the win in extra innings. The Titans recorded 15 hits, including a home run, and drew seven walks to secure the narrow win.

Brayden Buck's second-inning triple set the stage for TCC's first run, as Ty Iddon's sacrifice fly brought Buck home, giving Tacoma a 1–0 lead through two innings.

Pierce responded in the third inning, capitalizing on a Tacoma error to score two runs, taking a 2–1 lead. TCC tied the game at 2–2 in the fourth inning when Ty Iddon scored on Elijah McNair-Neal's sacrifice fly.

Tacoma regained the lead in the fifth inning as Vaughn Lowe scored on Ty Iddon's sacrifice fly, making it a 3–2 game. Pierce tied it again in the sixth with an RBI double, setting the score at 3–3.

In the eighth inning, Pierce took a 4–3 lead with a sacrifice fly. The Titans tied the game in the ninth inning when Carson Ackermann scored on Braden Jones' sacrifice fly, and Brayden Buck scored on Nate Jetton's sacrifice fly, making it 5–5.

The game extended into extra innings, where Ethan Mar's two-run homer in the bottom of the tenth put Tacoma ahead. Vaughn Lowe added another run, scoring on Ty Iddon's RBI single. Tacoma secured an 8–7 victory over Pierce in a tightly contested matchup.
