Tacoma Community College

Ian Sanderson returns as Head Coach at Tacoma Community College for his second season. During the 2023-2024 season he led the Titans to a West Region Championship, finishing the season with a 38-10-1 overall record and a second place finish in the NWAC Championship Tournament. 

Previously Sanderson served as the Pitching Coach for NCAA Division 1 Oakland University in Michigan. Prior to Oakland, he spent six seasons as the Pitching Coach at Lower Columbia College in Longview, WA. Coach Sanderson helped the Red Devils win three NWAC Championships in 2017, 2018 & 2019. 

A native of Shelton, WA, Sanderson earned his Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Certificate from Central Washington University. He lives with his wife Hannah in Puyallup, and they have two sons, Isaac (12) and Levi (2).
