CENTRALIA, Wash. — Tacoma defeated Centralia College 5-0 on Wednesday, with the visitors' defense recording a shutout and their offense netting four goals in the first half.
Manny Zuniga posted five saves in his 45 minutes of play, helping to secure a clean sheet for the Titans.
Bryan Dickson Masua contributed a goal, adding to the team's offensive efforts.
Noah Blake-Mathur led the scoring with two goals, including the game-winner.
Kuan-Lin Chen supported the attack with one goal and two assists, demonstrating his ability to set up teammates effectively.
Rico Ewell, playing as goalkeeper for Centralia, recorded eight saves in the match, despite facing 13 shots. Ezequiel Reyes and Owen Jacobs each contributed one shot on goal, providing offensive efforts for the home side. Daemian Guzman and Javier Silva each attempted one shot, adding to the overall attacking statistics.
The next challenge for the Titans takes them on the road to face Highline on September 6. The match is set for a noon kickoff in Tacoma, WA.
